Actually, the laserdisc version was released in 1990, so I deny this! Since a laserdisc version of this movie came out in 1990, I think they also should have a VHS version of the film of the same time period:
1. 1984 orange-red FBI screens
2. fly-in "Coming to Theatres" logo
3. "The Rescuers Down Under/Prince and the Pauper" trailer
You know, since the laserdisc version of this movie came out in 1988, I actually think they could have had a 1988 VHS version made, so I aproove this.
I also think they should've had a 1992 print that would've gone: Part 1: 1. Green FBI warnings 2. "Coming Only to Theatres This 1992 Holiday Season" logo 3. "Aladdin" trailer (as seen on GMD) 4. "Coming to Home Video" logo 5. "The Great Mouse Detective" trailer 6. "Sleeping Beauty" trailer 7. "Pinocchio" trailer 8. "Special Preview" logo 9. 1991 lilac FP logo 10. 1992 clean WDC logo Part 2: 1. "Now on Home Video" logo 2. "101 Dalmatians" trailer
Actually, now that I think about it, I think a 1988 print would've worked. But however, I think the FBI warnings should've been the 1986 red FBI warnings, then 1:23-31, then 0:19-1:22, then another trailer for the 1988 VHS release of "Cinderella", then 1:32-49, followed by the RKO logo.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to deny this! I think "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" should've come to VHS for first time in 1991. It would have:
Part 1:
1. 1984 FBI warnings
2. "Beauty and the Beast" trailer (as uploaded by MissPanther and disneymoviesrock101)

NO livinlarge18, there was no RKO Radio Pictures logo in the 1992 print of Alice in Wonderland, just the opening titles.
videolover652 4 years ago
Well then record the 1991 opening titles for me

I guess this movie has broken up into featurettes, one was the Wind in the Willows and the other was the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
videolover652 4 years ago
No, kidding. It was last package film of the 40's.
