  • Just a helpful tip your suppose to tie it in a square Knot or a double knot :)

  • This is a very good explanation and demonstration. Thanks. :)

  • I used a Bjorn for all 4 of my kids, and I love it. I was little nervous that the baby would fall out of your arms while you were placing her inside, but once she was in I loved how snug she was to your chest. Must be excellent for breastfeeding. I'd like one of these wraps for my baby boy.

  • I absolutely LOVE your videos. They are so informative!

  • @aldacoTM thanks hun

  • I own a black moby wrap and I wish it was a different color. the black is HOT! I do have an ergo baby aswell I like them both.

  • How much is this? I wanna' get it for my unborn!

  • @p8anut Around 70-90

  • Ive been meaning to make myself one, can you tell me how long and wide it is please? :)

  • @pmcmx I think this one is 5.5 yards but the length is ur own preference.

  • @xxxjoelpolexxx okay thank you!, cause they are pieces of material i had that i have to put together but i couldnt try it on to see how it fits and sorry i made you repeat i rewatched your video to see exactly how it goes again and you had mentioned sowwy! :)

  • @pmcmx I made one for myself and it was 6 yards of fabric and about a foot and a half wide. I used jersey knit fabric so I didn't have to sew the edges. Very easy to make and only costs about 20 dollars! Hope this helps!

  • @bliss606 Those are great, but stretchy. This is wrap is woven from what I can tell, which bears weight longer (up to 3-4 years).

  • Have you ever tried any of the Baby Bjorn carriers? Would you still recommend this wrap over that, if so? I like to do a lot of walking and I'm wondering if this wrap would be good/safe for that.

  • @LovelyLady1090 Not a big fan of the baby bjorn...I have a few friends who like them, just not my style I guess. This wrap can do far more holds than the one or two you get from the baby bjorn.

  • @LovelyLady1090 I wouldn't, nope. I'm a babywearing educator and the Bjorns are over priced and incorrect in position for baby, and not comfortable for many parents. Poor hip and spine support.

  • I love that u can wear it around and not have to take it off if u know ur going to be wearing it

  • @brybry051709 Yep me 2

  • Y u wearing this one instead of using the ktan u have

  • @brybry051709 It's 110+ degrees...lol this is a gauze material, meant for the heat

  • What size is your wrap?

  • @plus1please I think its 5.5 yards

  • That my fav carry! The front cross carry, although I have that first panel in front so 3 passes go over the baby :) very supportive! You look so great Lucy! And I saw your pics on Birth Without Fear, amazing!!!

  • @Nikicole831 Awe ty! Love BWF

  • I have a Moby Wrap and I love it. It looks similar to this but the way you wrap it is kind of the other way around (start at the front). Have you nursed Peyson in this? How does that work? My son is pretty small so I think it would be hard to nurse him in a wrap yet but if you have any pointers they would be much appreciated!

  • @RaxterRiley I have an overactive let down & an overproduction so I'm not able to currently nurse in any wrap/crappier as she chokes on my milk. (I was the same w/ both my other children) I have to wait till my milk adjust before I can nurse in it. But u just tilt baby the direction you're going to nurse and scoot them down to the appropriate level.

  • My goodness you bounce right back! You don't even look like you had a baby. Amazing!

  • @mommywood1 Thanks!

  • Baby must love the snugness of this and the closeness to mommy. Much like where she was living the past 9 months.

  • @LovelyLady1090 Oh yah!

  • ohhh she is TINY! great video :)

  • @rachyriottt thanks!

  • Wow! Lovely =) I want to do this when I (eventually) have a baby. Thanks for sharing, Lucy!

  • Would you say this is better than a pram?

    Sophie xxx

  • @thesophiesue yes!

  • @HkHOTgal Thank You

  • You don't even look like u were pregnant

  • @skylerdoodle1 Thanks!

  • It's so weird to see you not pregnant! lol. Peyson is absolutely adorable <3 She looks exactly like Jacelyn :)

  • @LiveLaughLaura13 haha I had a friend from our playgroup say the same thing yesterday....then we realized she had never seen me NOT pregnant, lol

  • This is just like the moby wrap only the Moby wraps from front and criss crosses on your back.

  • @themendezes U can wrap several different ways depending on the position/carry you want.

  • I have a Moby and I love it. The one you have is way cuter of a pattern though. :)

  • @mamaatheart I love this fabric print

  • I always thought when I get pregnant, I will DEF be gettin a moby wrap! Just because when you go places instead of them being in a stroller or carseat they will be close to me and hopefully it's less likely that random people will come running with their hands tryin to touch baby! That has always grossed me out! lol Who knows where those hands have been?!?!

  • @jessinjamie2006 Oh people are far less likely to touch a baby who's pressed against ur boobs...lol I quickly say oh she's nursing if someones hands starts to go that direction haha

  • @xxxjoelpolexxx haha Girl I would do the same thing!

  • I love that wrap it is soo cute! I have never wrapped either but we are ttc and plan to try so many different things (thanks to you) with new baby, including cloth diapers :)

  • @BooBear6607 Thank You

  • She is so sweet!

  • @3gojane Thank You

  • ..HD ;p

  • i LOVE it toooo much!!!

  • @anke7777 :)

  • Love it!! Have you heard of baby slings???

  • Great video...U look so adorable in it too. :)

  • @MrsQTLulu Thank You

  • that is cute, what is her middle name I must have missed it.

  • @clearancequeenie watch Peysons Homebirth Slideshow

  • Do you think you could possibly wear the moby this way?! I have a Moby, Mei Tai, and an Ergo... I don't think my husband will let me buy another wrap. However, the fact we are more than likely moving to Texas, this wrap may not be a bad investment. :)

  • @3MenandaLady06 U can wrap in any position you want depending on the carrier. There are so many different ways to wrap even for one particular position. The moby & bali breeze is of different material. The bali breeze isn't really stretchy....b/c it's gauze material so that may effect the outcome some.

  • @xxxjoelpolexxx I kind of like the idea that it's made of a non stretchy material. The Moby is quite stretchy, and I often found myself always readjusting and tightening. Thanks again for the tutorial.

  • @3MenandaLady06 Yep, my k'tan is stretchy so I always have to throw it in the dryer to tighten it up. I even went back to the store to see if i needed to go down a size, but nope...i just haev to wash/dry it frequently..this one doesn't stretch out though (bali breeze)

  • LOVE that fabric! The pattern is adorable!!

  • @TheOrtonsLife Definitely a favorite of mine!

  • Thats really cool! it almost looks like a cute tope when you dont have her in there :) Thank you for sharing :)

  • @stephleephoto I'd so wear a fabric like this for a top, ha

  • That's so cute we dont tend to use wraps over here in uk, but I have one if those baby carriers and I tried it but never used it. X

  • @halloweengirl888 U should try it ;)

  • Great DEMO!! Looks like hard work getting her in there though :/ I remember you had a different one which you can nurse in and no one can see baby... what happened to that one?

  • @christellevecchio U can nurse in basically any carrier....this one isn't stretchy like my k'tan so it can be a bit more difficult b/c of the gauze material b/c it's more TX summer weather friendly!

  • Thegracediaries

  • Check out graces baby wearing vids too! She does a wrap like this that isn't cotton so might be helpful?

  • @fvnan TY

  • Can i do this with the Moby? Because I bought one and it came with illustration but this video is more easy to do step by step lol

  • @divahoney2001 U can wrap in any position you want depending on the carrier. There are so many different ways to wrap even for one particular position. The moby & bali breeze is of different material. The bali breeze isn't really stretchy....b/c it's gauze material so that may effect the outcome some.

  • I made my "moby" style wrap with 5 yards of knit fabric (make sure it isn't too stretchy) and an iron-on patch to mark the middle (instead of the tag)! You just cut the fabric in half long ways and you have two wraps! That is all you have to do! I paid $32 for the fabric and the patches and that gave me two wraps, which one Moby costs like $40! I love my homemade one, especially having two because if one is being washed, I can just use the other one! :)

  • That's a very pretty pattern on the wrap.

  • @sanjapanja i love it

  • Goodness, for a second there... the knot at the back don't look so secure o.o! its a simple thing that can come undone, has that ever happened to you? She is such a cutie though <333

  • @Jimena5683Nick its wrapped so tight....u can double knot it

  • omg..the little grunts were my fav part of this video :) so freakin cute!! shes adorable

  • @fabulissj ty

  • Peyson looked so comfy in that wrap. And where's your baby belly gone??? only three weeks, WOW you look great Lucy.

  • @02elise1 thank you

  • I have a moby but never use it. Maybe if I wrapped it the way you did it would have worked better. You do it backwards from the videos I've seen. They have it where the tag goes on your tummy, not your back and a few other differences. As long as the baby is secure I don't think it really matters which way you do it.

  • @janaparma U can wrap in any position you want depending on the carrier. There are so many different ways to wrap even for one particular position. The moby & bali breeze is of different material. The bali breeze isn't really stretchy....b/c it's gauze material so that may effect the outcome some.

  • WHERE DID YOU GET HER TUTU? IT'S SO CUTE ON HER

  • @AliJaeJR my bff bought it from target

  • What material is your wrap? It's not strechy, but it doesn't look woven either.

  • @BennyandLore gauze

  • I really like that one! MAN GIRL you look sooooo great! Good for you! Three kids later? CAN'T tell!! :) Do you have a baby ktan wrap? That is the brand I have, IF you have one, do you mind doing a instructional on that?

  • @MelB0610 Yes I have a black baby k'tan & I love it

  • @xxxjoelpolexxx I'm glad you say that cause I have never really used a wrap before this baby, DON'T know why, but I was a little confused on if I was putting her in right? ,and if it was a good wrap.. I HATE instructions, and I tried to use it, but I was still unsure!?

  • it turned out cute

  • @EmLovescrazy ty :)

  • awe!

  • @ReillyAJ :)

  • Never heard if this..but I did "make" my own Moby....we call it the Faux-by lol.. The way u did it was kind of backwards to how we wrapped for the Moby. I learned how to wrap thru YouTube. You might want to try it to see if you like it. It's a lot easier to take the baby out u just lift them out. Check it out! :D

  • @xalexandchrisx The moby is cotton & this is a gauze material (meant for the hot weather) so it doesn't stretch as well as cotton so it's a little bit more difficult to move in comparison to cotton....but great in this weather when cotton is not.

  • Go babywearing!

  • @rachiibuu so much fun

  • This was so interesting to watch. Can you bend down to pick something off the floor while the baby is in the wrap? Anyway, your baby is adorable (just like your other kids). :)

  • That looks like it has so much more support than the sling I tried to use when my son was little. I will have to remember this video when we have our next baby :)

  • @EricaTommy220 its a gauze material so it imo supports more than a cotton bc it doesnt stretch as easily

  • cool i am going to wrepsody my baby and ok to snet you and your baby a gift x

  • Heya I just video responsed you (i hope i did it right) to how i wrap my baby and breastfeed in it too, I also make them super cheap if you are keen. If your keen I can post a link to my page on your facebook

  • Pretty awesome wrap, but I agree....WAY too expensive for just a piece of fabric!! I was curious though, why aren't you using you baby k'tan instead?? It seems like it would be a lot easier to use.

  • @mebran03 U can wrap in any position you want depending on the carrier. There are so many different ways to wrap even for one particular position. The k'tan & bali breeze is of different material. The bali breeze isn't really stretchy....b/c it's gauze material so that may effect the outcome some. The k'tan is too hot for our 110F+ weather

  • very nice, the little one is so cute, and that idea of caring baby in that kind of baby carrier is fantastic.. an you looks grate, sounds is clear, picture is sharp and colorful ;p

  • @missjustT thanks

  • yep sold, gotta get one lol

  • I loved wearing my third son! It's great to have free hands and still keep your baby close. My son slept every single time I put him in there (I had a Moby). In fact, we went trick-or-treating for a few hours and he slept the whole time. When it got cold (I live in WI) I just wore my husbands jacket on top and we both stayed warm =)

I love your parenting style. You are a great mom!

  • Wow that is soo beautiful I wish I had one when my daughter was a newborn... I think its too late now. She's an 18 pound 5 month old... It's too late right? Lol, but definitely for my next baby

  • @priscillajuarez Nope not to late

  • I think I'm gunna buy some jersey and make myself one of those... You look great btw. :D

  • @Bugsiecat Thanks!

  • it looks like a shirt and I love your pics with you wearing it

  • Love her little outfit and she is still so tiny :)

  • @mummywithpcos Awer Thank You! My BFF bought that for her from Target ;)

  • omg i so want one of those!!!!!!!!

  • @FAITHFUL2THEE It's cute & fun!

  • Oh, the joys of baby wearing with a newborn! She is stunning!

  • @elisam34 It's a MUST when u have a 3 & 2yr old! TY!

  • This is so awesome and I bet she loves being so close to you. This vid is goin in my favorites. Thanks for sharing this. :-)

  • @terrycloth97 Ohhh she'll sleep for as long as I have her in this, seriously! The moment I take her out she is awake, ha. I usually HAVE to take her out just so she'll wake up to feed b/c otherwise she's so content snoozing it up in there she just stays that way. It's great!

  • yea just like a moby just crazy how much they sell for a piece of fabric, I am sure you can find that fabric and make your own easly

  • @cylla2006 No kidding....that's what got me was it is literally just one long piece of fabric & for it to be nothing more than that it's sooooooo expensive! I wouldn't mind that much for something if there was more stuff to it, lol say like an Ergo but I can't stomach spending that on just a piece of fabric, ha. I am VERY thankful I know someone w/ one that is also nice enough to loan it to us! Whew!

  • yay!!! first comment. cool love your videos!!!! your babies are beautiful

  • @turnersteel1 thank you

  • you look so thin!! i envy you

  • @rubicita89 Thank You
