@MotownMaster You need to keep your snotty, snobby comments to yourself. FYI - I have been collecting Motown since I was a teen, have probably 90% of all original vinyl LP's released on the label (definitely all of the female groups/artists) & also have uploaded some here. But I do enjoy listening to alternate versions by non-Motown artists and clearly state that in my profile. You need to get your arrogant head out of your rectum & get over thinking you are some official Motown expert!

@MotownMaster Mate, dunno if you noticed but the lead singer isn't white, the Belle Stars weren't trying to step on any soul toes as they were risen from the ashes of 2 tone ska as the Funboy Three did and Fine Young Cannibals too, the Belle Stars were for the most part former Bodysnatchers and were trying to find a niche and this is one of their experiments, possibly trying to appeal to the emerging scooter movement which was massive in the eighties.
