On top of the multiplayer being fucked the singleplayer didn't even feel like it fit in with the story of the others until literally the last mission. They brought up nothing about Lucy and you talk with 16 like he didn't give you the 2 biggest clues to saving the world ever. ACR is basically a giant middle finger put up by UbiSoft.
honestly I don't really know why anyone would buy/ play AC for the multiplayer in specific. On both ACB and ACR I spent so much time enjoying the story and the few hours on Multiplayer raging my face off
A lot of the complaints that people have about this game, that I have heard ( i.e. glitches, people going through smoke bombs, roofs, etc.) is an issue of lag and cant be fixed unless everyone has the same internet speed. as far as the matchmaking, it is a little messed up when it comes to team games, but its done to be fair if there is a party of 4 together and only two other people for the other team, its trying to balance. also, Assassin's Creed isnt the only game they are working on.
With the size of the download..im pretty sure the maps are actually being downloaded and installed, if not thats one big key..but i agree with you..There are too many problems with ACR they should be focusing on rather than being like money hungry Activision usually does and CopyNpasting maps. I only bought the first DLC cause i really liked the characters..

In brotherhood I had a setup of smokebomb and charge as my primary and a poison with smoke....Well in ACR charge causes you to walk for 2 seconds if you miss and will most likely end in death.My pursuers seem to be walking through my SB more often and poison has a fucking ridiculious range.I can be right in another persons asshole and try and poison but nothing happens yet another person can poison me from 10 paces away....and the entire lock and you can still kill NPC's is stupid...Idk
and the fuckin mute is broken like wtf every time i activate it i have a 1/10 chance of actually stunning some1 like wtf is up with that i dont wanna gamble when i use my mute and pray to the gods under the full moon that i will stun my pursuer
well the reverse detection meter is actually a thing that rewards stealthy players but i do agree that it is not adapt to all the game modes, for example assassinate
Charge sucks, Mute sucks, Half of the maps on ACR suck. BUT! I do like the Contested Kills. That is about my favorite addition.

@Dead7Shot Well if people refuse to buy DLC from PSN, then maybe Sony will see that its a poor investment and will no longer want to buy said DLC drom Ubi to begin with. So, in the long run, it could affect Ubisoft.
While many have mentioned that they agree there are glitches to be fixed they will not stop playing and will buy the DLC. The most effective way IMO is writinig Ubisoft a letter in your own words you wont purchase the next series until this is fixed. If people will still play and purchase the DLC and not follow through with a boycott, they might sit down and write a letter, it would be more of a win/win in my personal opinion
Im currently in school for bachelors of science in game design and when I heard about this boycott I wanted to relay some info people are confused about. 1. The DLC's are already made before the game release, they do not make these after the game comes out. 2. The money spent on the DLC's does not affect Ubi, PS, micro, etc. purchase this from Ubi and set the price to sell it in their store, so thinking not purchasing this hurts Ubi, it does not, they already made their money.

i dont know about acr being a pile of shit, i and a lot of other people still enjoy it. yeah the reverse detection meter and honorable death are a little bs, but its not overly bad if you stick to the right game modes, and hopefully with all the community complaining, ubisoft changes it in the next game

If they hated that game - why buy the new one and boycott it? @SusannaNO2 To be fair though Suzie, it can be quite easy to underestimate a boycott if the idea is quite fresh. If it happened to turn into something that was big and people were serious about it, it could be useful to get the message across. Take SOPA for example. Some games companies were boycotted, and then they removed their support from the legislation. Whether that proves to have been effective in preventing it however still is up to chance.
Not to mention, the whole Ubi passport thing. You can't buy a 2nd hand copy of the game if you want to play online, otherwise you have to pay 10$ extra which results in a more expensive purchase than you buy a new copy (+ no Sentinel character)! Nothing but a big scam! I'd like to call them leeches, but a leech needs to suck on others to survive. Ubisoft sucks on others because of pure greed. That makes them worse than leeches and I don't want to offend the little critters...
@Saracchio Nope, buying the passport from Steam/PSN/Xbox LIVE will only give the passport. Getting the passport through a code that come with a new copy of the game unlocks the Sentinel. Basically debotchery...!

If they ever consider putting another DLC out with Brotherhood maps, I'd want it to be Pienza, Forli and maybe Alhambra. I know they're not that popular because they were roofy, but I'd say that Pienza and Forli at least weren't so bad when it comes to scoring.

And for liking Alhambra, I don't really like it, it's just that I can see why it could happen if you get what I mean. Alhambra did have a nice feel to it, even though the layout wasn't the best.
This second DLC isnt on the disc already.. Its 500mb or something! The first one sure was ;) Still its very over priced! I did buy it, but just because I own it 2 my own channel for some videos ;P
@Zackske I kinda think it's laughable that they've tried to give players a 3-day trial, as if it somehow lessens that it's a shitty overpriced DLC. All that smart people will do is play the new maps for three days and then carry on as normal, without the crap they call the "Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack".
I would love to see a video about the "boycott" on a Machinima video. If people could get the message to a much wider scale (even if half of them are COD players), it might increase awareness of Ubisoft's bullshittery.

Well I've never been one to not succumb to peer pressure, so in the effort to please my favorite Youtube personalities (and my wallet) I will not be buying the dlc until I see some sort of measurable progress or Squidish/Esco/shenmue tell me to buy it.

Frankly I'm all for charging for extra characters, but new maps, which would split the player base, should be free to everyone to avoid that.

Thank you very much for bringing up the money stuffs. I mean... Many of the current ACR players have played ACB and most of them probably know how catastrophic that third patch thingie was. If they hated that game - why buy the new one and boycott it? It's like buying a freaking car, discovering that it is shit and let it stay in a garage because you want to show the manifacturer that the car is absolute shit. @SusannaNO2 To be fair though Suzie, it can be quite easy to underestimate a boycott if the idea is quite fresh. If it happened to turn into something that was big and people were serious about it, it could be useful to get the message across. Take SOPA for example. Some games companies were boycotted, and then they removed their support from the legislation. Whether that proves to have been effective in preventing it however still is up to chance.

Not to mention, the whole Ubi passport thing. You can't buy a 2nd hand copy of the game if you want to play online, otherwise you have to pay 10$ extra which results in a more expensive purchase than you buy a new copy (+ no Sentinel character)! Nothing but a big scam! I'd like to call them leeches, but a leech needs to suck on others to survive. Ubisoft sucks on others because of pure greed. That makes them worse than leeches and I don't want to offend the little critters...

@Saracchio Nope, buying the passport from Steam/PSN/Xbox LIVE will only give the passport. Getting the passport through a code that come with a new copy of the game unlocks the Sentinel. Basically debotchery...!

If they ever consider putting another DLC out with Brotherhood maps, I'd want it to be Pienza, Forli and maybe Alhambra. I know they're not that popular because they were roofy, but I'd say that Pienza and Forli at least weren't so bad when it comes to scoring.

And for liking Alhambra, I don't really like it, it's just that I can see why it could happen if you get what I mean. Alhambra did have a nice feel to it, even though the layout wasn't the best.

@Zackske I kinda think it's laughable that they've tried to give players a 3-day trial, as if it somehow lessens that it's a shitty overpriced DLC. All that smart people will do is play the new maps for three days and then carry on as normal, without the crap they call the "Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack".

Leaning a similar way. Not touching this DLC until they get patches out for the major complaints people have, and even then I'm hesitant to pay that much for such little new content. Frankly I'm all for charging for extra characters, but new maps, which would split the player base, should be free to everyone to avoid that.
