@nonirules Well, I watched the anime first, then read the manga, but I don't think it matters either way. I always loved the anime so much. The music is beautiful, the story is amazing and what not. BUUUUT, I just finished reading the manga for the first time, and omg. IF your a huge clamp fan, there is so much that was taken out of the original series that you will reconize from other shows/books. so no matter which way you do it, look forward to them manga. It is amazing!

Great portrayal of all that Kurogane is and how he interacts with Fay. :) Great vid! Fay is so kind and Kurogane is so strong, it's wonderful that they eventually take from one another and learn to care so deeply for one another, despite any original intentions or flaws which may have existed prior to their meeting.

Everytime I here this song, I think of KuroFai. It describes their relationship completely. Especially the lines "Save me from the nothing I've become" because that is all Fai is really doing by calling him Kuro-wanwan and the like. The line "Bring me to life" is also fitting because of *Spoiler* Kurogane saving him by turning him into a vampire. */Spoiler*

@Fireflyize You need to read the Manga. There is so much sadness in the series. Not everything is as happy. I wish they made an OVA for the fight torny in the "Knights of the game board" arc. That is where it really got good.

why do people spell his name Fay or Fye...when in DvD episodes he is credited as Fai? (I can understand Fay because it sounds similar but Fai matches the sound perfectly. Fye i don't get though at all...)

The official spelling is 'Fay D. Flourite' according to the CLAMP character guide (though the surname was probably a typo as he was named for the gemstone fluorite). However in english speaking countries he's usually referred to as 'Fai' because, as you say, it more closely resembles the pronounciation.

The spelling 'Fye' is probably supposed to be an indication that the name should rhyme with the word 'eye', though I'm not really sure.

Personally I prefer 'Fai'.

In Italy the official translation is "Fay", but I noticed a lot of italian fans prefer "Fye".

the reason a lot of people write it FYE is because in some languages (namely french and spanish and probably others as well) Fai and Fay is not pronounced AT ALL the way the authors intended it to be. Fye, however, can be.

If you want to watch the anime, I want to warn you about the filler episodes: I didn't liked them and they're too many (but it's my personal opinion). Well, Fay becomes a vampire in volume 17 (but the fight against Shaoran's clone is in vol 16). Not so far! I'm up to 18 and I'm waiting for Fay's past (go, depression!).

unfortunately not. Tokyo Revelations is a serie of 3 OAVs based on Tokyo Arc, 25 minutes each (like regular episodes). I don't know if they're gonna make the rest of the serie (Infinity Arc etc.). I hope so!
