There's different types of pain... different reason's too feel pain. Yes, the people in 3rd world countries do go through alot of pain and suffering, but so do people who suffer Depression, and YES, it is PAIN.

Not all "emo kids" cut
and more important not all people who cut are emo,, at times they can be connected but not in all cases.
If you seen me, you would never think to call me emo, but i have had experiences with self harm, and no one see's my scars/cuts, because i did/do it where no one can see, I typed it like that because it's been about 7 weeks since I cut, but that does not mean i won't do it again, because chances are I probably will

Okay. I'm not going to get angry, because you all have your points. You just don't know what it's like. It's not the fact that you're hurting yourself or you're crying out for attention. It's that when you do it and you see the blood, it's like some of that pain is coming out with it. It's stupid and no one should EVER do it, but it is addicting and it will always be with me. Do I regret starting it? Yes. Would I take it back? No. I learned and I lived. : )

i think ppl are over-stating the phrase "emo" cuz if someone says their emo, its NOT for attention! i used to cut, and it was cuz i didnt know how to deal with my depression, and exactly what those kids are talking about isnt true! they shudnt be talking about these issues if they dont know anything about it!
ps. i think the best person to talk about cutting and "emos" are ppl who actually went thru the same thing, and was actually cutting.

There's different types of pain... different reason's too feel pain. Yes, the people in 3rd world countries do go through alot of pain and suffering, but so do people who suffer Depression, and YES, it is PAIN.

Some people also harm themselves because they have grown up in horrible families. Pain is all they've ever known. And pain and cutting is the only thing they have from killing themselves. It is a release and a cleansing. I don't like seeing people upset and harming themselves. I don't like seeing people in agony. If anyone wants to talk about anything or is upset just talk to me. I would really appreciate it. I'm not judgemental. It kills me when others are sad.
