I don't believe a woman should wear pants up in church or wear pants or clothing made for a man, meaning they have pants that are made for women. Should a woman wear a dress to exercise and do particular workouts? How about climbing up a ladder, to swing from the monkey bars, sky dive or bungie jump,skate or ski? I surely ain't wearing no dress to do my workouts unless its a simple walk on the treadmill but more vigorous stuff, that would reveal your cookies and junk to people? no way.

We are justified by faith under the New Covenant. I feel like this guy has ignored the whole Christ history with respect this issue. The Bible tells us that the Law brings sin. I am so tired of people saying God is not concerned with the outside appearances, but as new creatures in Christ, an outward change needs to be seen. The change does start with the inside. The reason why women should not wear pants is because it shows the shape and hips. It fits the curves of the woman. Look at the signs for the bathrooms. The males one has pants and to indicate which one is female, it has a dress. People need to stop mis reading the bible and read the bible for what it is. If you study certain words that are in the Hebrew language the word "pertainith" is refering to a man/warrior. Mose who I believe wrote the book of deutoronmy 22:5 ... was refering to that. Jesus cared what they wore on their hearts and souls and the fabric and thread that put those attributes in a persons heart and soul is Jesus Holy Spirit.
These MEN in this video (and others like them) are being Pharisees. Plain and simple.

crack and cigarettes may not be in the bible, but when the bible speaks specifically about something, then we should know what the bible is talking about...it DOES matter that pants were not in existance when the scripture you use was given. And when you say pants were made for men, by who were they made? God's people? Surely NOT! However, you wear them. Does that make you unholy because they were not made by holy people, but you wear them? No it doesn't. Just stick to the bible

Did you find in scriptures where JESUS says what we WEAR matters? or found the word PANTS specifically denoted as what WOMEN can't wear.
Pettyiness and being Pharisees is what this pastor is preaching. It is insulting and ignorant to Jesus to focus on such pettiness.
It is a second insult to Jesus creation: women, for MEN to FORCE or belittle women for whatever they wear.
We are born naked and die naked, everything in between does NOT matter for clothing!

Very true. Doctrine and dogma - pretty much no place in Jesus repetoire of how to live and good life on earth and how to get to heaven. Heaven is on earth if people look inside and know they are a part of God and that God, Jesus wants us all to thrive and develop our hearts and souls.
The negativity associated with relying in a mean angry OT God has brought more havoc and danger to society than any other misunderstood book in history.

Bottom line. Stubborn men, said that the OT had to stay with the NT, for their superstitious fears. Stubborn men tried to align the old with the New.
But it has really caused major problems throughout history, including horrible problems for women.
I would like to see the OT removed from teh NT. Then one could have a bit of faith in what Jesus said.

@fishingwjohn I agree with everything you just said. Being a Church Organist for over 25 years, I've played for every denomination in the body of Christ. And I've run into a few people like Mr. Smith. And I've seen the sever damage that these type of Christians can inflict on people with the Bible. Thats what made me read my Bible more. Because as you can see, in the wrong hands, the bible can be pretty dangerous. I'm dealing with some dogmatic Loonytoon on youtube right now. On this subject.

No it NEVER EVER matters what a person wears. NEVER. Even rags do Not matter, even no clothes - do not matter.
All that matters is what is in the heart and the Holy Spirit cements this into our soul if we accept Christ.
Clothing means nothing in Jesus scheme of things. Only pettiness of men would make it so.
That way we see what these men are all about. It is sad.
But we can be aware, that such dribble is nonsense and go on with our love of Christ and others.

where are his videos about how men are expected to dress and present themselves in accordance to God, like the numerous videos he's made about women's attire? i'm always suspect of men who harp on what women need to be doing to "get right," but who don't devote the same amount of energy talking about what men need to do as well. his intentions may be good, but his sermons have a narrow scope. and the word "stupid" shouldn't have a place in a pastor's sermons .. if he wants to be taken seriously.

The bible also mentions not to eat pork, and says not to wear 2 diff kinds of material at once. Is this something you fallow too?
The way I see it, these were standards for the OLD Testament, The New Testament is kinda like the updated version if you will. that doesn exclude all things like The 10 Commandments.

You did not respond to my queries at all. You said the mark of obedience is to follow ancient bronze age notions that are held in the OT, but too many edicts in the OT are to be DONE away with, because they have nothing to do with Christ.
So you are pumping yourself up to say you don't eat pork or shellfish - due to mark of obedience.

There is nothing more tiresome than a man thinking he knows it all and tells others they are going to hell.
You really do not know your bible to make any such declaration.
ONLY JESUS knows the interior disposition of souls and NO one on earth can say whether or not any person is going to hell.
Especially with the criteria some have following ancient customs versus what JESUS asks of us.
Jesus condemned the behaviour you are espousing as the men who say women wear dresses only.

Jesus condemned the righteousness of the Pharisees and sadduccees who went around making all these "laws" and edicts and were haughty that only they were going to heaven.
Well, you do not understand who Jesus was condemning then.
He managed to get through to the poor and downtrodden. But he could not get through to the high and mighty priests - insert pastors who may today espouse the ignorant notions that wearing pants or hair a certain ways sends one to hell.

Women and men have clothes that are made specifically for them. if a man put on anything made for a woman he breaks the law. if a woman puts on anything that is made for a man she breaks the law. like he said himself, the bible does not specifically say anything about pants. it says a man shouldn't wear anything pertaining to a woman and a woman shouldn't wear anything pertaining to a man. skinny jeans pertain to a woman. baggy jeans pertain to a man. simple. Each have set clothing.
