I will be moving to Detroit in a few days to start my new job. I will be involved with a company that is in the thick of the rebuilding Downtown. I pray this city does come back to life. I do not believe the ideas expressed in this video will be the solution though. I believe the free market will restore this city. Create an atmosphere that will encourage big companies to stay & small business to start. Keep the governments out of their way & the people will restore it on their own. God Bless!

How can rebuilding take place when Detroit has a rotten base? Only 25% of Detroit's youth graduate from high school and 50% of the adults are illiterate. What employers would consider locating their businesses in such an area? Not many! The residents of Detroit need to make some major attitude changes before any rebuilding can take place.
