@upperthongjb - it does hurt, but not nearly as much as you'd expect. I mean, in my experience, my tattoos were a lot more painful. To be honest, I think the greatest risk in scarification is that it sometimes doesn't heal the way you want it to- though the person who's actually doing it might have something to do with that...
