While putting an SS (super sport) on your vette may look cool it's like putting a pony car badge on a mustang GT. vetts wear the GS (Grand sport Badge). The SS is for cars like the Malibus, Chevelles and Cobalts.

you are wrong no way is that supercharged... You can hear the thing spool up smoothly when he blips the throttle. A supercharger whine tracks the engine revs. Also whiney superchargers generally make a little noise at idle.

It's obviously a turbo - You can hear it blow off, and it doesn't whine the same way a supercharger does (gear or belt driven).

that was deffinitly supercharged not turbocharged. The spinning turbine of a supercharger happens at lower rpms than the turbine of a turbocharger. In fact superchargers can get the noise at idle in some cases.

@palillo2006 The way I see it, if it's a high pitched "whistling" sound that progressively gets higher and higher it's a turbo. If it's a whining sound that goes up and down with the engine revving then it's a supercharger. :)
