Correct. I sewed it up down the middle but you could do it along the top and bottom of the colored ribbon as well, it just gives a different finished look. I sewed it by hand using a running stitch but you could do it by machine too if you wanted.

Thanks! I never thought about putting 2 ribbons together, and it really makes it look alot more period! (^^)
