I was very sad too when i played the end of the game. I hoped that i get more information about sev's end when i read the [order 66] book, but it's like in the game. scorch would like to search sev but yoda tells them that they should to their mission.
Technically speaking, Sev is MIA. LucasArts has left the possibility for his survival open but so far they haven't done anything with it. Since the character is property of LA, that means novelists can't make their own story either. But honestly, you'd need a lot more than some trando freaks and an exploding cruiser to kill Sev.
The entire Delta Squad betrayed Sev and left him behind because they were afraid he left them jobless. It's what happen in every good group. In the end it's all about the payroll.

it's not Karen Traviss' falt vode, Lucas arts doesn't want her to change anything because they wanna keep it open for a future game. The reason why she stopped writing the SW books is because Lucas Arts put the animated series above that, and there shtting all over the book,l so to speek. Infact while reading the legacy of the force series they created a starfighter called the besu'liik. With a mutual aid treaty with the roche system they shared metal working secrets to make the fighter lighter but still as powerfull. they also equipped it with verpine technology. It can run either from generated power or from manual system. There is also another called the Trakad.
@annieeatstheworld He also agrees to help Kal in reversing the clones advanced aging process. He starts a jedi refugee program on Mandalore with Bardan Jusik a rogue jedi that left the order before the purge. The empire has taken over and the jedi are in hiding. the Mand'alore of Mandalore agrees to let the empire mine Beskar a unique metal that a lightsaber can't penetrate. So the empire goes to Mandalore to mine the metal and starts setting up bases. Thats where the book ends.
@annieeatstheworld The rest of delta squad. (Scortch, Fixer, Boss) Joins Kal Skirata in escaping during the jedi purge. They flee to mandalore where they meet up with the rest of Skiratas ragtag group. SGT. Vau gets news of Sev going missing and refuses to accept him being dead without physical evidence so he goes to kashyyk to find him. He returns to Mandalore without finding Sev but still rufuses to think he's dead. There he joins Kal in trying to rescue the members of Omega squad left behind

no he didnt omega squad finds him when order 66 goes into action and since omega squad stayed with the republic not the empire he was with the good squad delta squad went with the empire

@annieeatstheworld The mandalorian culture actually uses beskar for almost all of their metal workings. Infact while reading the legacy of the force series they created a starfighter called the besu'liik. With a mutual aid treaty with the roche system they shared metal working secrets to make the fighter lighter but still as powerfull. they also equipped it with verpine technology. It can run either from generated power or from manual system. There is also another called the Trakad.

@annieeatstheworld He also agrees to help Kal in reversing the clones advanced aging process. He starts a jedi refugee program on Mandalore with Bardan Jusik a rogue jedi that left the order before the purge. The empire has taken over and the jedi are in hiding. the Mand'alore of Mandalore agrees to let the empire mine Beskar a unique metal that a lightsaber can't penetrate. So the empire goes to Mandalore to mine the metal and starts setting up bases. Thats where the book ends.

@annieeatstheworld The rest of delta squad. (Scortch, Fixer, Boss) Joins Kal Skirata in escaping during the jedi purge. They flee to mandalore where they meet up with the rest of Skiratas ragtag group. SGT. Vau gets news of Sev going missing and refuses to accept him being dead without physical evidence so he goes to kashyyk to find him. He returns to Mandalore without finding Sev but still rufuses to think he's dead. There he joins Kal in trying to rescue the members of Omega squad left behind

it could be a glitch in the game or your right. im thinking your right, but if i was scorch i think id be happy and mad. plus he would sound more realistic if he was dying. he would sound like this AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH then a big boom then fuzz plus why didnt u shoot at him? if u really did that i wounder what he would do?

sev isnt dead in the book it says delta squad leaves the republic saves him and go to mandalore.

In the books it says he is caught in the invasion when they start blowing everything up. Sgt. Vau goes on a search for him after the jedi purge. he still isn't found but theres no reason he has to be dead. thats when the books end. star wars the clone wars series screwed everything by using mandalor and completely getting it wrong

no he didnt omega squad finds him when order 66 goes into action and since omega squad stayed with the republic not the empire he was with the good squad delta squad went with the empire

The glitch which is hilarious:
Use sniper scope when you get transmission and look at the canons, he's still there ! The truth is that, I think, he was killed on Kasheek (I spelled it wrong) or on Kamino.
