All the characters are pretty much the same speed no matter whether it's vehicle or robot mode. :/ I always felt that while it made for a balanced game, lacks a bit of charm you could get from going really fast. Still, it's not necessary in this game, the maps are too small and you'd be on the far side in a moment anyway.
