I wanted to know if you get the same mix mastered sound and bass in a your car? Because I heard that the JBL's sound real good but in a car, or regular speakers the bass is gets lost. Is this true? And what do you recommend to solve this?
@Disisions Yeah I get pretty much the same mixes from every source I listen to it from. That problem usually comes from the room your mixing in, not being acoustically treated right and tuned so your mixes aren't accurate. Its not from the monitors.
Great monitors man, i own them as well and can say they sound good... Take a listen to some ambient music off of itunes radio and you will see what i mean...
Using HD or LE doesn't make it distorted, it's most probably the video cameras mic that can't handle it. I am sure in the room, it sound %100 percent clean and distortion free. If its not an aftermarket mic and the standard vidoe camera mic, you yell into that and it automatically distorts and can't handle low freq and not to mention youtubes a/d is not ment for 192 or even 48k. It dithers it down to what ever cheap compression to save space like it does on video uploads.
