M-Audio shoild have put phantom power on the original M-Box ! A great thing to get if you see one secondhand is the M-Audio Black Box ! Really shit hot guitar amp modeller ! @searchingvdo there are so many factors. it think you are on a good way..even with the tube mp to "warm up" a little bit your digital equipment. at the end is a good mix and mastering as important. i knew people with the best equipment everybody would dream but the result was "shit" because they had a bad mix and horrible mastering. keep experimenting :-)

ToneTaster has some cool videos, how to modify the Art Tube MP with other tubes !I didnt try by my own, i used the original one.a lot is about taste generally. i know german producers, they had all the expensive microphones, but choosed at the end mics like a SE 2000 for some female singers, because it transported the character better than soome 10 times more costing mics.
