  • Hahah. Me at 3:20 ;)

    @KaxiLaxi: it's nowhere near Linux.

  • Looks like the old Nuvola icon set I used to use years ago

  • another linux distro?

  • @KaxiLaxi Nope, apparently MenuetOS isn't even Unix based. I just happened to come across it by accident, just Google MenuetOS, there website should be the first one listed.

  • MenuetOS would be cool if the 64bit could connect to the internet. But there isn't even a setting to connect to internet.

  • When I go to run it it says long mode is unsupported.

  • @djl12328 MenuetOS uses long mode because it is a x64 operating system. Long mode is the mode for accessing 64-bit instructions and registers. If it says that the long mode is unsupported then it means that your CPU (or the CPU you are emulating in case you're using an emulator) is not a x64 (also called x86-64) processor, so you probably have / emulate only x86 CPU.

  • i suggest using virtualbox.

  • Menuetos is a fantastic operating system and your criticism of it sounds like your jealous. You you can do better, yets see what you got. Talk is cheap, action isnt.

  • That is one amazing OS!

  • "This has to be dixed, that has to be fixed..."

    How easy you say it... You know how extremely hard it is to write things in assembly? It's impressive that these guys managed to write an operating system entirely in x86 assembly.

  • Impresive little OS. Realy cool!

  • get eyeos it frign RULEZZZZ

  • .........Get windows? Why would you need this. IF anything, just get ubuntu. Its free.

  • @TheDarkBunnyz It's good for older machines. Like, if you have an old 486 computer lying around, pop this in, and it will run well.
