  • It is so obvious that most of these pathetic comments against Pickles are written by people who work for the Labour Slimes.

Fake and bogus comments written to make Conservatives look bad, typical Labour sleaze!

  • yeah fatboy ! watcht this idiot make a cock of himself on bbc question time, when he gets asked an awkward question about the expenses he claims, he ties himself in nots its so pathetic! this man really is dumber than he looks believe me!!

  • WHO ATE ALL THE PIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Petitions? Do they ever work? Ever!?

  • "Hello my dear chums"!

  • Didn't anyone else think this ad was a little humiliating?

  • Comment removed

  • NEVER VOTE FOR LABOUR AGAIN!

  • Could people please stop arguing in such vulgar manners and please treat this like the serious issue it is. I would hope that we do not give the parties a bad view on the internet, as it would be a great shame if these were to stop simply because a few people are using their anonymity to act out. I also believe that we certainly need to remind the government that their duty is to protect and help the people prosper, not to take their position and abuse it.

  • Listen you useless lard of shit,my wife gets taxed on her travel card.

I have lost my job,I cant get any help.

Its because im white and British,You just dont get it.Oh yeh,fat people are responsible for global warming,go on a diet fatty

  • No its about expenditure you fraudster

  • Pickles?.Nearly as fat as me Sir!!.No Sir.

    Vote BNP,the true Lard party.

  • What is this War room briefing? What a stupid idea.

This man and all MP's should be removed because they allowed this system to be kept in place for so long and there only acting because they have been caught out.

We should decide on how this country functions not you lot of idiots.

And just for you Pickles I will remind people of your past comments soon enough then people can see your not the jolly chap your trying to portray.

  • Search youtube for "David Cameron speaks to the media regarding MP expenses"

    The REAL David Cameron

After that search youtube for "TOFF AT THE TOP"

(teachers you all you need to know)

  • You look just as dodgy as the Labour idiots..

  • how would brown and cameron cope being hosts on the shopping channel-flogging the product:towels! for 3 hours nonstop?

  • how this man can show his face again...they just lost the moral grounds...liars.

  • MPs Expenses? but was it not Maragaret Thatcher who introduced the idea in the first place?

And also wasn't it the Conseratives who claimed for the most extravagant things, I mean chandeliers ... come on, don't you get paid enough as it is?!

  • your parties is as dead as the labour party.

YOU ARE TRAITORS TO THE PEOPLE OF THE UK.....

  • your all liars theives

its a whole new system we need not another usless term of bad government.

your all out of date out of touch.

  • Eric is my local MP and after his performance on Quetion Time should fall on his sword

  • Both partys are pretty much the same. Labour doesn't want it because they know they will lose, and the conservatives do want it because it is likely that they will win

  • I'm big Tory fan, but I've seen Eric Pickles trying to worm himself out of this mess on Question Time. He's as bad as the rest.

  • i concur

  • He had some of the lowest claims on expenses.

The entire expenses thing is just a media hyped up fit of jealously.

    Its ridiculous.

  • Actually you're wrong. Eric Pickles' second home in no further than 15 miles away from his main home. Many people in his constituency get the efficient train to work in central London (where his second home is) every day, so why can't he? As much as it's nice to be the audacious guy with a minority opinion, there really is nothing unjustified about the publics reaction to MPs expenses.

  • I was New Labour for 12 years now I'm a Conservative again. If a Government won't hold a General Election for fear of losing then they shouldn't be in Government. KEEP PUSHING, KEEP FIGHTING AND NEVER GIVE UP.

  • I am a Conservative.

  • Get a grip!

    Revelution is in the air!

    The public have had enough!

Yes we want a general election but we want a lot more than that. We want democracy to matter to us.

  • The change you should have made was to remove the whip, from the arrogant and totally out of touch Steen, immediately after he made those stupid responses.

How many more Steens are the in the tory ranks?

TOO LATE TO THREATEN A STAND NOW!!!!

    from a very disappointed conservatve.

    jazzevan

  • Why has he got a lobster trying to get out of his pocket?

  • we do indeed want a general election..

as far as im concerned we've got a non democratic government that's milking it's run for as long as possible before it's inevitable booting.

pretty disgusting and the laws regarding this seriously need altering for the future.

  • I WOULD AGREE TO A GEN. ELEC. but who is electable.

  • Sorry but why are the Conservatives trying to do an Obama "CHANGE" campaign? And do you honestly believe we will fall for this? You guys are just as bad as labour, trying to manipulate public opinion to your advantage. I'm a Conservative still, but please dont treat us like idiots. if you really wanted to make a point you would use unbranded petitions. Dont make it a conservative thing, Its a BRITISH problem

  • Yeah, it's strange when they say "change" because their party's name is "CONSERVE-itive"

Last time I checked the dictionary, converse meant to "keep the same" or "keep the way it has been done before"

They certainly aren't progressive in any case.

So you're right, they should stick to their old guns and say "this is how it was, let's conserve that in this way or that way"

  • haha I hadn't thought about the word change, in relation to conservative. It's even more inappropriate now. I like to conserve my money and not be left with change too.

  • last time I checked conservatism does not advocate keeping stuff the same all the time. Learn ideology

  • Tongue in cheek chum, I am aware that they advocate change but will turn straight back to traditional conservatism if they get into power.

  • by traditional conservatism you mean changophobic reactionism? Or Thatcherism? Conservatism is pretty much pragmatism with a societal focus

  • I think they just mean a change from the Labour government we've had for so long.

And the CHANGE campain worked for Obama,so why not for the Tories? :P

  • Mr.Obama banged the 'change' drum every day of his campaign and look what it got the US, i agree that its a country wide problem but they smell blood and it is right that they are taking the lead.

  • of course they're trying to manipulate public opinion. That's what election campaigns are. All the parties do it.

  • You said it yourself. "election" we are not in a general election which the petition is for. I'm a Conservative and this is going to come across as a PR stunt.

  • Maybe he didn't record entering his address due to worry around which home to put as his main residence :D

  • very witty :P

  • thankyou:)
