You can play your tapes and videos all day long but I have actually seen and have been on a farm where they raise mink and they not skinned alive nor treated poorly. They are also not killed in a cruel and horrible way like so many cattle and chickens are in slaughter houses.. yet all the fast food places continue to prosper with more and more business??????????????????????­??

Minks have a bad life. They are semi-aquatic solitary animals.

They're inside small cages with no freedom, they become overweight which is UNNATURAL.

Also fur uses toxic preservatives and mink farms are major pollution producers.

Fur is greed and is better to buy wool (sheep are not killed).

The difference between furry animals & us is that they can't live without fur - we can. I'm amazed by that stupid comparing to kill-for-food & kill-for-fur reason. Humans are natural born predators which means it's in our nature & biology to eat meat. But now, in XXI cent, we don't need to use fur. P.E.T.A. is the worst organization I have ever witnessed. I know people who have volunteered to work for P.E.T.A. and have told me that they have staged videos in order place more intimidation and fear into people. People are so againts fur but yet still eat meat, wear ugly ugg boots, and leather boots and use costemics and fake fur that is horrible for the earth.

What do you do about leather footwear and gloves,belts, pants,coats,wallets,furniture,­vehicle upholstery,etc. There is more of that sold because of the meat market than furs. Is all you campaign against is fur. Eating meat has a higher problem rate than the fur trade. In fact more leather is worn than fur. Plus the sale of meat. Get rid of the meat market and fur will follow. I'll also clear I didn't badmouth. Bad type would be what you were looking for. Pedantic ha ha. word.

It took me a long time to figure out this what's going on in this commercial, but I finally did-The meeting of the people in fur coats is juxtaposed against against a swarm of flies to show that the people and the flies are basically the same-they're both scavengers after dead animals. But the flies are acting out of survival. Can the people make the same claim?

You've completely missed the point of the ad. Firstly, although I am very against fur coats they contain no parasites. The maggots and flies featured were symbolic (In other words representing) of the way fur-coat wearers latch onto them, the main point being that flies need to eat the flesh of an animal to survive, whereas mankind can survive without fur. Secondly, this was NEVER shown on TV, only in cinemas, and even then it was only seen by a small amount of people before arthouse movies.

You have to admit that the flies thing was symbolic and the message of the ad wasn't about the dangers of parasites in fur coats, but about the suffering animals whose fur is made into coats go through. Seondly, I had no idea it was on TV. There's no real way for me to find out what ads were shown on TV and what ones weren't. As far as I know, if it was shown on TV, it probably would've been part of a Tarrant on TV style show. Also, sorry if I offended you there. Believe me, I wasn't trying to.

even television stations in the 80's allso used to certificated tv ads due to airtime reasons it did not lasted very long

but quickly abolished in the 90's but the advert got lampooned in ghostbusters 2

in 1989 once again alls forgiven it was just got overheated and have a great christmas.
