well it could happen! I mean last tournament Greece won the cup over favorites and hosts Portugal! And this year Greece sucks so bad, actually they never played good attacking football, they relied on counter attacks and set pieces! Im not even Croatian by the way! Croatia played with a B-team against Poland and still beat them! Poland was much better in qualifying, now that i look back im suprised they qualified ahead of Portugal!

we'll just have to wait and see only about a month left, very exciting stuff. with new superstars from spain (torres, fabregas), portugal (cronaldo), france (benzema, ribery) AND italy (toni) most of the job may fall on the coaches of how to form a winning formation, and some of them really do not impress me (donadoni, domenech, aragones). kilnsman is pretty good though, so we'll have to see, maybe even a surprise from a smaller team like croatia (although they'll be missing eduardo) or russia.

But to be more serious, i'd reckon the favorites would be italy, france and spain (though the latter are eternal underachievers), so i wouldn't discount seeing a repeat of the '06 world cup final (hopefully with the opposite result though - again, my opinion)

My guess is one of the two will screw the other one from advancing! Romania is a threat who have proven in qualifying that they are better than Holland, who I believe might even end up lastin the group! The dutch team today is a mere shadow of the dutch team from like 1998!
