I know about that hehe :) In ESC in Rome 1991 Israel sang Kan, but in English it isn't translated as Here, but Come Along, that's what Duo Datz sings on tape, when they are singing in English :)
I know some countries, such as Iceland, Finland, Germany, Austria etc... when they are singing on tapes in English isn't the same as the lyrics they have translated on Diggiloo Trush :p For example Gary Lux from Austria song in 1987 Nur noch Gefühl (Only feelings), but on tape he sings in English Don't turn around :) Why did he sang on tape Don't turn around instead of Only Feelings)?
I saw Stjornin live in Selfoss (Ingholls nightclub) in July 1990 just after they'd performed at the Euro song contest - it was a great night! from an Englishman who worked in Iceland for some 8 months.
This is Iceland's best entry ever, or at least their best entry ever sung in their own language. The well-deserved 4th place position is also Iceland's best position until they started singing in English, after which they've had two 2nd place positions.
Vrolijke inzending die Ijsland net als in 1992 op een mooie positie heeft gebracht. Jammer dat ze nog nooit hebben gewonnen. Hun grootste kans was in 1999.
Meu Deus. Que antigo.

@MoodMan35: The words "Only feelings" doesn't fit into the same rhytm as "Nur noch Gefühl", but "Don't turn around" does.

My favorite song of ESC 1990. The contest took place in Zagreb, Croatia. Nice, very nice. I still like it a lot. :))

if u understand what their saying the song makes sense, so its doesnt really suck monkey dick.

if you understand what they're saying, you're living in a country where there's no monkeys.
which makes it impossible for you to judge whether monkey dick gets sucked or not
