@goryan012 in fact, c8 is a canadian variant made by colt canada, wich is the same mas an m-4. It's also the same thing for the c7, canadian colt version of the m-16. In the end, they're almost the same gun exept for the name and the scopes but got the same rounds, shape and accuracy. From a canadian soldier! :)

Just so you know no c7 has a handle found on the m-16. they were alle quipped with optical sight mounts

@acupoflego Actually during BMQ, recruits are given C7s that do and do not have the standard C79 optical sight. The C7s with no optical sight use the iron sights (handle).

To clear up a few misconceptions: The C7 didn't enter service until 1986 with the Reg F, and 1990/1 for the Reserves. The FNC1 wasn't automatic and usually only issued with a 20-rd. mag. The C2 was the auto. version, with a 30-rd. mag and heavier barrel. The CF doesn't use the 5.56 as a primary sniper round, but rather the 7.62 NATO. -The C6 is also used as a support weapon at the platoon level. They use the Sig P226, NOT the 220 or 225.

So in other words we had the FN and the C2...

besides the SMG,GPMG and the 50.

C7CT would be my main rifle for sniping and assault. semi auto, use with sniper scope and change to ACOG(forgot name, just imagine MW2 ACOG) with 5.56mm and add foregrip with bipod and desert camo + silencer. i want that for christmas! XD
