  • Look at the difference in Tyson from when he fought Trevor Berbick to now. In the Berbick fight he was bobbing and weaving and throwing combos. In this fight he's standing straight up and throwing lone power shots as he stalks after the guy. He was already going downhill for a number of reasons. He was still very good at this point but every fight made him worse. He should have never fired Rooney.

  • @muclesmarinara well said and very true mate.

  • I don't think this is a revenge performance. What would you rather; a gold medal or to be heavyweight champion?

  • the snake always devours the frog???larry murchant must have been heavy on the whiskey that night

  • Tyson helps Tillman to get up! He is a genuine gentleman

  • In those days Tyson would have destroyed evander. Tyson the warrior !!!

  • tyson had raw strength!

  • Thanks the author

  • if he would fight Evander right after this fight evander would lose without a doubt

  • SUGAR ray sounds like a little, little man who never fought a powerhouse like Tyson.

  • @drys15012345678901 ur entitled to ur opinion mate but Sugar Ray Leonard fought and beat legendary powerhouses like Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns. Leonard knows exactly what he's talking about and, imho, it would be a wise move for hbo, showtime, etc to utilize more ex-fighters in commentary positions more often. dana white has capitalized on this and it hasn't hurt ufc's fan base. fans like to understand the tactics, etc & leonard explains these things exceptionally well.

  • @FEINS1 I like Leonard a lot more than Foreman. However I'm not a real fan of the "jockocracy" taking over the broadcast table regardless of the sport.

  • @FEINS1

that's kind of misleading. ray leonard went 1-1 with tommy hearns, robbed hagler of a real fight and a decision, and lost to duran in their only good bout.

  • @Robstailey lol, no it's not misleading. the point was made that srl never 'fought a powerhouse like tyson'. i pointed out that he did. btw, going 1-1 with hearns is excellent and hagler is opinion & subjective (I agree though, imo hagler was robbed).

  • @Robstailey Ok, well Tommy Hearns is a HOFer and an excellent fighter, going 1-1 with him is not bad at all. "Robbed" is pretty strong language for a fight as close as Leonard-Hagler. And so what if he lost the good bout? He won the rematch, it doesn't matter if it was a shit fight. Leonard came with a brilliant strategy and it worked.

  • @drys15012345678901 if you dont even know who sugar ray leonard or sugar ray robinson is, you know absolutely nothing about boxing, and you probably saw mike tyson in the hangover and googled who he was.

you cant compare the 2 because they are different weight classes, and completely different fighters from the start, youre a fucking idiot, learn some shit and come back

  • @drys15012345678901 you are aware sugar ray is regarded as one of, if not the best fighter EVER to enter a ring. And he fought very big punchers all in their primes and beat them all. Dont get me wrong i think Mike Tyson if he kept away from partying and didnt let his ego get in the way is the best heavyweight of all time but Sugar ray (both robinson and leonard) are in another league

  • oh fuck yes, sweey redemption!!! the judges can't save tillman now, prepare to die !!!!

  • bullcrap, he had to wait 6 years to fight holyfield, after he went to prison for 3 years, psh

  • "the winner got me"....i wud lose on purpose lol
