because pleo is a pet wtich does ot need to be tended too that often.i want a hamster for example,but my mum sees it as ust being another chorein the house buying food, a cage, cleaning the cage etc. with a pleo it is different . you can out pleo in the coset and he will not die.

Calm down, people, with your prejustices. YES, it is pre-scripted. And the man is acting. But the robots's AI is still in progress, and this demo is supposed to show what the dino WILL be like. Or, at least, as UGOBE plans it to be like. The real capabilities of the robot of the fineal relise supposed to be similar, if not more advanced. Anyways, no judjement cant be done at this point. Wait for following demos and relises.

Its not scripted, its just a very limited demo program showing its reaction to sensors.. Obviously the final product will be different, however, I sure hope it can do alot more and maybe have little more pep and excitement to it..

These robots are a joke. They can't walk and within an hour you WILL be tired of it. It looks as though he's interacting with it, however, he already knows what it's going to do therefore he's reacting to what he knows the robot is already going to do. The robot did not bite him, nor could it, he simply jammed his hand into it's mouth and pretended it was trapped in there. These toys are just a dog and pony show! I'm not saying these things won't be cool one day, they just aren't yet.

"MajorBubbles" is likely a term he uses to describe what's floating around in his head. Obviously Pleo is still in development, which is why we're only seeing a DEMONSTRATION VIDEO. You know, demos? Those things they show to generate interest in the product? Hence the reason that this video is of a DEMONSTRATION at a DEMONSTRATION conference. Unless "MajorBubbles" somehow got a Pleo and was able to try it out, he has zero clue as to what it can and cannot do.
