Locomotive # 103 i have heard it used to run the essex passenger cars till they got so many it couldnt handle the load . so they got 40 and 97 to pull.
No... Where did you get that idea? The only running Steam locomotives there are 40 and 97. You may be thinking of #103, but that engine has been retired for years.
Oh Yeah. I heard about that one. Just it's not at Essex yet; they haven't acquired it. And it will need a lot of attention and restoration; for it's rusted and destroyed. Needs restoration.
You heard right, it's a former Chinese SY 2-8-2 built in July 1989. I was burned in a fire at the Knox and Kane and it has to be restored before you'll see it in operation. When it's finished, it's number will be 3025. I personally hope that they'll have it painted in McGinnis, especially the tender (the locomotive itself can stay mostly black).
Question? How did you do that thing at 5:24 where the camera switched places and you got up to deep river landing view? HOW DID YOU DO THAT NO ONE CAN RUN THAT FAST!!! Wait. Was it different shots throughout the whole day? Is that how you did that thing at 5:24?
This sure is a lovely video. We have a little 2'0" gauge WW1 Baldwin 4-6-0T up in North Wales.. gotta be reboilered first which is gonna happen soon. When it does I'm sure my ex Central Vermont 5 chime will sound just as sweet..
DUDE at 0:36 are there any pointers on how to keep the camera down far enough so that My Camera dosen't get wrecked?

@OdaConnProductions If it's an average size camcorder, it should fit under with no problems or without digging into the ballast.

this is true. Its another mikado type, and they are going to restore it, and put her in former New Haven livery.

I was shot at various locations through out the day (like more of my videos) and it's put together to look like one round trip.
