Benny and Bjorn wrote it, inspired by old Swedish folk music, especially from the part of northern Sweden called Dalarna, home of the midsummer, dance and music and having an important role in Swedish history. There is no special folksong inspiring this one, just the sound of music that was once heard everywhere on the midsummer feasts. Anyone would like to cover it....

Jen pozor na to, že Mike Oldfield hudbu prevzal od skupiny ABBA, u niz tato skladba tvorila uvod alba Arrival (vydano 1976), Mike realizoval singl v roce 1980.
