Dawuud, alaihi salaam was best qari bro, since he invented all the maqaams. Prophet saw himself recognized other reciters better than himself. Even Bilal (ra) was better as muaddhin than prophet.

although this is a nice recitation and there is nothing wrong with reciting like this. I don't think the rasool(saw)and the sahaba used to recite like this.

ofcourse the Sahaba did... well ofcourse the melodies vary... but the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam did used to ncourage the best of readers to read n dey often used to call dis sahaba (whose name i cant remember)to recite the quran becoz dey had such a beautiful reciting voice...

Yeah but the Prophet Dawud used to recite like this and better. All his maqam used to recite the zubur are the same used to recite the Qur'an. Dawud was the greatest qari of all time.
