Now when the molted they shed the old shell correct and that would be hollow. If you found one with all its legs and gills dead it had not molted is that correct?

It's really fascinating to see it yea, my horseshoe crab molted 2 times, also kept the shells haha ;p

@aqua2291 mmm based on my findings it would take 3-4 days before the outside to harden.=)
