If what she says is true, then what a huge and resounding fall into a pit of ignorance and nothingness the Islamic world has experienced! However this documentary feels more like a low-grade infomercial where each interviewee tells us his wishes and fantasies and concedes nothing negative.

This documentary show an over all history of the rise and fall of the Islamic empire in Europe, it actually point out what the social scientist Ibn Khaldon has predicted, that nations or empires are like human beings. They get born healthy and strong and then when they reach the peak of their wisdom and sophistication, they fall for other stronger and newly born factions. What is sad though is the total ignorance

The only thing that made them better than the Goths were that they were not so ignorant and violent as the Goths. though the first thing they did on crossing the strait after thier first battle was to dismember their prisoners and boil the bodies in cauldrens. this is how the history repeats for the Muslims again and again. One generation of pure muslims who follow Islam strongly set up a glorious empire and then slowly over time the next generations of that empire give up the basic islamic teachings and get involved with the worldly things. Then Allah snatch it away from them n give it to some other people. Spain, India, Ottoman for eg.
