well when you devote all your time for over a year and dont ever get sleep. just work on training loving and praising with treats/affection and what you get is a dog that CONTINUOUSLY lifts his leg on yuor bed and shits on your clothing and pillows youd be a bit miffed too. i love my dog. i dont treat him poorly nor neglect him. he IS stubborn and spiteful. and he is clumsy and clueless. but at the end of the day, after hes pissed all over my couch his mama still cuddles him to death. so shut up
8 weeks would be a good age to buy them, if you want them as puppies and don't mine house-breaking them or giving them their shots. Then, they're pretty much out of their nipping stage and they're more or less weaned off their mom.
I'd suggest getting a pug from a shelter or a pug rescue though. Then, they're guaranteed to be house-broken and with their shots, and possibly neutered. Many have dogs around 2-5 years old too, if you want an active and aware pug too. Good luck!
