This is awesome. The led light is really bright, i'm surprised someone at apple didn't think about that during the development process. I would defiantly buy this app. It would be perfect to use when under my Mac sheets and pillows when I get scared at night.
im sure if Pandora can have music run in the back.. The Led light can run in the back. If Apple wont "Let" that happen then I'm sure it will work once you are jailbroken you can run the backrounder app... This app would be amazing if you can run it in the backround....
Ya Apple allows 'core' background tasks like audio streaming to continue when the app moves to the background, and unfortunately access to the LED is not one of those core tasks. However, if you were to jailbreak I would guess this would run like a champ.
Unfortunately, 'multitasking' on the iPhone isnt real multitasking. Apple doesnt provide any hooks to keep the light going if your app moves to the background.
