Sahir sahab's lyrics and Geeta ji's singing captures the essence of this divine song. The tune set by the composer N Dutt sahab was inspired by the immortal bhajan "Rakh na ramkada" sung by Geeta ji for the composer Avinash Vyas for the film Mangal Phera (1949).
