The drummer's name is Yvette Preyer, from Memphis, TN. Michael met her there in 1999--she played for him as a fill-in drummer and by the end of the rehearsal he asked her to join the band. She is also a good lead and backup singer and gets a lot of mike time with the band. She is a fantastic "in the pocket" drummer and knows just what to do and when to do it. Before she met McDonald she had been playing in Isaac Hayes' band.

The drummer is Yvette "Baby Girl" Preyer who has been his touring drummer for years.

I really wish I had a good digital copy of this video that wasn't compressed and those two little blips in it. This is one of my favourite songs that he performs and it stinks that the only version of this I can find has been compressed to hell and has errors in the audio track.
