  • Painfully slow and cumbersome looking. Splitting by hand with a hydraulic splitter is probably quicker.I'd rate it minus five stars.

  • useless.....check out the hahn log splitter, way better

  • perfect for some fat rich lazy fuck !

  • wow for slow and it sux that you limited to that size... id hope a good operator could go way faster to make it worth while! nice that it does the split and stack tho

  • wow i wana build one..it wouldnt be that hard all i need is a attachment , a ram and somthing to stay in front of the log..who ever made this had a great idea!!

  • pointless

  • Not trying to bash this idea i'm sure it could be efficient with the right operator. Man power is obviously involved with someone running it. not to mention the 30 gallons of diesel burned up in 8 hours. I ran a skidsteer full time for 3 years with a blacktop milling attachment on it, it caused 4 herniated discs in my back (yeh i'd have to call that manpower).

  • Not sure why the operator is going so slow. That machine will move much faster then that. A hi flow pump to make that spliter hop and she'd be dandy. Split and piled.

  • You should be ashamed! What a waste of energy! A quality splitting maul is the only needed tool for 90% of ALL firewood. All the other tools are envirinmentally wasteful! And yours is by far at the top.

  • Dandretti

Maybe you would like to make a video of that quality splitting maul in action. And what are you going to do with the other 10%?

I guess it is possible to cut a tree down with a axe, buck it with a swede saw, haul it home with a hand drawn sleigh and split it wth a maul. But most who burn wood spend a little energy to save alot more.

  • Good theory but a splitter is much faster and easier. Although I can split my chevy 3/4 ton full of wood in 2 hours with a maul with breakes, but it sure is lots of work. I am making me a splitter.

  • @dandretti1 i would bet i could split more wood in one hour with this machine than you could split and stack in a day. this maacho maul issue is just a bunch of baloney. i used a maul all my life till i could afford a splitter i will never go back

  • terrible design.. if youre going to spend that much just get a good wood processor.

  • this must be what the retired folk do. theyre in no hurry i spose

  • ya i'd say.

  • $5.00 In fuel for a $1.00 log.

  • Omg this is slow.Only in US can this be sold

  • i hate to agree but i have to. I would prefer a hammer and a shrp rock then that? waist of time and money

  • omg that costs such a long time.....

  • sweet....

  • best attachment I've ever seen!

  • Damn!!!!

  • Nice !
