The key point in this match is when marcelo swings into x-guard at :50 and immediatly grabs the near leg for the sweep. Aoki tries to stall giving up side control but ends up giving up his back instead.

That sweep is a basic x-guard sweep which due to the transition from partial de la riva guard didn't require a complete x-guard to finish.

When Marcelo pushes down on Shinya's knee at 1:14, Shinya see it as an opportunity to sweep Marcelo to land on top in half guard. The problem with this was that he didn't have control of Marcelo's top half which allowed Marcelo to quickly jump over and take Aoki's back. You see him attempt this at 1:16. Aoki got up quickly but not quick enough to slip the amazing over/under control that he had
