Did you know Thomas Gallaudet and Laurent Clerc founded the first school for Deaf students? We, Deaf Community, won't have any education if they did not start the school. Why should residential schools for the Deaf, mainstream schools, and charter schools for the Deaf be judged? I owe in debt to my parents for my 12 years in residential school for the Deaf . I have been proudly Deaf since I lived in Deaf Community through my DEAF INSTITUTE. Thanks to Thomas Gallaudet and LC!
