You live in America and like too many Americans babble about countries you don't live in never mind are unable to find them on a map. I have been twice to Libya and Jordan. I have been to Lebanon, Egypt and Qatar. Qatar is trying to be another Dubai.

@ImaginedWriter its how men greet in the GCC. There is no such thing as primitive and civilized when it comes to traditional greeting. Its personal prefrence. How about this? I think the shaking of hands is such a primitive act of your society. I cant say this because it is coming from my own perspective. Opinions are not facts my friend. We know how to act with other societies. I can go from shaking hands and kissing 3-4 times on the cheeks to giving high fives and fist pounds.
