I'm from Houston, TX and this is the type of preaching I'm use to. My father has pastored my whole life and I know good preaching. I have heard Pastor Chapman several times and his delivery of the word is always effective and efficient. I pray that the Lord continues to bless his ministry and draw souls through his preaching. At the end of the day the purpose of preaching is not to impress or to entertain, but rather to edify, admonish, and to reclaim that which was lost. Preach on Pastor!

I have no problem with you having an opinion. My problem is that your opinion isn't educated. My dad was born & raised in Mississippi. Technically that makes him a SOUTHERN PREACHER!!!!!!! Ask these southern preachers is he overated: Bernard Mitchell, Frank Ray, Timothy Glynn, Timothy Woods, Julius Scruggs, Sedric Veal, Dennis Jones, A. @babyburns68 Honestly I don't think nodody has church period like the south....lol. I went to my dad's church in Cali and felt a little out of place. I think Detroit and Chicago will be as close as it gets to good southern church and preaching and that's because most of them came from the south.

Not taking anything away from them, just wasn't used to it. Where do you go to church? I go to Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, Lexington,Ky. T.H.Peoples jr Pastor.

@snuggableteddyb I agree, but i haven't found a preacher like this YET in South Carolina. I've been so discouraged here. No one I mean no one comes close to what I've heard in Atlanta, Memphis, Detroit and Nashville. It's been a hard transition. Sometimes I think, I must be praising a different God cause they dont' praise him like I did in those places!!!!
