basically how it used to be in my town is that Gypies used to camp on our fields without permission, wreck the shit out of the land and leave it looking like trash heap when they'd leave. Some of those "travellers" would be right bullies and try to start fights left and right but I suppose if you're a normal bloke like Paddy then you wouldn't leave the site to start shit so I've admittedly only seen the bad characters.
