  • In the 1960's in Chicago I attended a Church (Christ the Redeemer) established by two Benedictine Monks from the Lisle Abbey to serve the White Russians in the area. We did the Liturgy of St. John Chrystosom in both English & Old Slovanic every Sunday morning for parishoners and many visitors. After the Liturgy we shared an Agape in the Church Basement, where we enjoyed singing Mnogaya Leta hundreds of times over the years! This brings back memories.
