The time allotted to get the problem fixed from the previous ticket had not yet expired, therefore he cannot be ticketed again until the expiration. If this weren't the case, then the police could ticket you again the moment you drove away without fixing the problem. Don't pay the fine and go to court with the paper evidence. The second ticket must be dismissed.

@toni5317 Worst advice I've ever heard right there. Signing a ticket is agreeing to show up in court. Some states let you get away with not signing the ticket, but other states consider this a misdemeanor for which you can be arrested on the spot and booked. This is why you don't give legal advice unless you're a lawyer with all of the information needed to make an intelligent judgment on the situation.

@NoFunniNamesLeft Cops know some basic laws and ticket you to get you into court where the laws are interpreted by a judge versed in law. If cops were expected to be able to argue the law on the street with you, they'd all have law degrees. All they do is ticket and have you sign to agree to show up in court. If you refuse to sign a ticket, depending on your state, you can be arrested until your court date and only be out until then on bail.

Another video where nothing happens. Some kid who doesn't understand the law gets a ticket, YAWN. The kid didn't psych anyone out he just asked the same stupid question over and over again and sounded like an idiot. The cop was much more cooperative than I would have been. I would have said, "If you don't agree with the ticket take it to court" and that would have been it, end of conversation. I wouldn't have put up with some kid running his mouth on something he doesn't understand.

everyone is missing the point, you cant drive a car that you dont have a registration for, they give you a court date, on that court date you have to produce a registration. Now you cant legally drive that car until you get the registration for it, so every time you get pulled over youre gonna get a ticket, this could happen 300 times, it has nothing to do with the fact that you already got a tocket and its not double jeopary, every time you drive that car you are breaking the law
