  • Freaking this is sweet. what did you do to the undercarriage. what lift did you install? what size tires does it have? this is one bad ass bug. ***** I have a 72. I also have a TJ. I would love to see your baby on the trail. money well spent. fun times. (O O) OlllllllO :)

  • The 4.3 is basically a 350 sb minus two cylinders the accessory drive will fit the engine will bolt right down to a power glide ( 700 r, turbo400, 350 )That is why they are popular in pickups and Astro Vans some full size vans .Stock they put out 200 hp with a hand comp you could boost em to 225 with a new chip the biggest gain I heard of was 305. Small block is better though .Big block is best more torque

  • Dude can i get the specific build specs off you? cause THIS would make an awesome rock crawler!!

  • Yeah what a great "Käfer"!

  • Cool bug..can't say I have ever seen a 4x4 one before.

  • "Have you ever wondered how the man who drives the snow plow, drives to the snow plow? Well this one drives one badass volkswagen, so you can stop wondering."

  • did he hi that tree

  • sweet no back window crud

  • turns off the camara just before he crashes into the tree lol

  • looks like you were just about to hit that tree then the camera went down. :P

  • nice 4runner

  • super car, super sound

  • i don't think there's anything you can do take the cute factor out of a Beetle.

  • Ok I keep reading comments about a V8 in a beetle on here one problem... read the description its a 4.3 L Chevy, its a V6. Stupid people cant you read yet?

  • @adamslurch71 No, the beetle now has a V8 in it. I originally had a 4.3 V6 in it. Now it has a Gen III 5.3 liter drive-by-wire small block V8 in it. If you look at my more recent videos you'll see the current V8 setup.

  • @adamslurch71 is it a vortech 4.3

  • @wootwoot409 I know which is a V6.

  • Looks like fun.

  • reminds me of a volvo sugga

  • Wow, impressive. You made it through a whole what, inch, of snow? Come on, if you're gonna put a video up on youtube, do something cool.

  • @Lieutelant Yea same goes for your comments.

  • To bad VW didn't do something like this from the factory.

  • @Guyll21 they did its called the tigawaun

  • That's cool.

  • They evidently made a 4x4 beetle called the comanderwagon or something during or after ww2, isnt it massively heavy on rear?

or have u put engine in front of rear axle, if not how come it doesnt turn everything backwards or are the diffs upside down/different way round if u see what I mean?

  • yes it was the type 87 Kommanderwagen. They only made around 600 of them, but sadly all but 2 or 3 (I think) were destroyed when the vw factory was bombed. Yes the engine is still in the rear...the diffs are upside down. Yes its heavy in the rear....but isnt a front-engined car heavy in the front as well...??

  • kind of, but in front engined v8's the engine is about level with centreline of front wheels, but I see ur point.

would have been good if u could have sacrificed rear seats and had it with engine just in front of rear wheel centreline and gearbox behind centreline like an f1 car etc.

Bet u get good snow traction though!

  • The engine IS mostly in front of the rear axle; there is no back seat. I guess its more of a "mid" engine than a true rear engine...

  • thats what I did...there are no rear seats...the engine is forward of the rear axle...

  • so ur saying you have one of the 3 beetles left in the world..and then you fucked it up..nice one

  • no you fucking retard, all the real (2 or 3 remaining??) Kommandeurwagens are in museums in Germany. There is probably no price on them because they are so rare/valuable. Mine that I put a V8 in and made 4x4 is just a regular old beetle just like the millions of other beetles out there. You're a moron.......

  • sorry i was sober when i wrote that lol

  • @penguin1494 Did you take off the rear engine cover? I see it on i think? How did u get a v8 to fit in there?

  • @penguin1494 Oh sorry , didnt read ur comment.

  • THATS GANSTA COOL

  • I want it!!! If i were rich i would pay u muuuch money to build ne for me!!! U JUST WAIT A LIL BROTHER ILL GET RICH in fev years and send u a pm in this matter. See u soon!!!!!...

  • Nice, What are you useing for a frame??

  • Near the end of the video the engine even sounds like a bug. Great car man.

  • Awesome build!

  • wow, what a machine :D

  • haha thats cool

  • coool bug! :D it looks like u hit the tree at the end lol!
