I was there last year and you have power walk to the next street. It was fun riding the rickshaws tho and also it's so fun to bargain with them. My mom had this way of pretending to walk away they are so in need of business
lol, chinese can drive so much better than americans, they dont need to be told how to drive, they just adapt to whatever happens, because it is never the case that 100% of people follow traffic laws.
@FissionNonStop you know! china people very patience and polite, people can share each other on traffic road if in Australia, Canada,America every body swear till can make break the windscreen !European very good manner !
Have you seen bicycle commuters get any injury by accident? Come on! All western media and people don't make a double standard to put on Chinese, and save your opinions and how to rescue your lousy financial crisis.
Ahh Shantou been there once. I used to live in Zhaoqing Guangdong Province and it's just as bad there too. No rules no wonder there are so many accidents in the UK caused by Chinese people.
They have their own rules to avoid traffic. Traffic lights are not necessary.

Not very bright are they. Too used to having the government think for them. Obviously walk around and drive around in a daze.

Tell you the truth, I used to work for Mercedes dealer in Shantou by 1996.
Now I viewed this video, totally same as that time, no big different change. Same " chaos " traffic conditions, but never dangerous cuz 乱中有序.

No traffic lights! No rules. I was terrified to cross streets in Shanghai and other Chinese cities.

I was in Shantou 2 years ago. Nearly got runned over by a car, as it was coming from the wrong side of the street. Must think they're in Hong Kong.
