she is talking about how the more popular a girl gets on you tube the more hater comments

they receive. Candy wrote the break down of this song on the same subject. "Theres Beauty, And theres Hate, Theres everything, don't be afraid." The overall intent of this series has nothing to do with the residents vid. there are 4 in all and candy did not write this because of seeing the residents movie. The message however is exactly the same presented in a different way.

It shows a young artist at the begining of her carreer struggling to work hard

and cope with the pressures of striving for success. And it shows her overcoming fear and telling others to do the same and know they are alive.

The fact that we were in the studio and working on this song the night before was

to cosmically syncronized for me to ignore. When I saw the residents vid I started editing

immediatly(footage from the night before to try and support the message of the residents

viedeo) I did it quickly and must have failed on some level for you to have to ask.

I assure you I have never responded to a vid with a spam type vid to get views.

The whole purpose for the editing style in this vid is to try to support some of

the points the resident was making.

Granted it also supports the original intent of the vid which was to engage the communitee

in taking part in the production of the song. But its Syncronicity. One of the most interesting aspects of youtube. We all have are own style of expressing ourselves.

the spoken words sound good in chorus but I would suggest playing around with that some more,maybe even some breathing sounds or more breathy delivery to kind of fit the words, not sure whether it's just mixed high but it's a little too aggressive, all in all, it's a killer tune, your hard work is gonna definately pay off

I wanted to give little bits and peices so that when my last video of this song comes you can here the whole song. So the way its cut in this vid you don't actually here the first chorus. the addlibs in

the first are less aggressive. On this particular chorus its a level thing. The dilema I have is trying

keep the energy up with out it sounding overdone because how could she actually sing and addlib at the same time. So it becomes a little fake but most hip hop tracks are like that.

I'm a one man show so I know unless it's just one vocal and guitar I'm never going to do a studio track the same live but what I was thinking was maybe try having her whisper that part, I think not only would it sort of fit the lyrics but be sexy as hell

much stronger chorus this time, very cool, and I love the drop after it, really nice, dig the beauty and hate part, just a couple ideas,I really like the repeat of 'the only victim is' from the first verse, it was a good rhythmic build up to the chorus, might work to repeat the 'succeed in the wish' line,

thanks alot, she's usually pretty comfortable, grew up around a strip club environment. I think she's just in a funny mood. One of the reasons I started

working with her was because I saw her performing live and was blown away

by her confidence on stage. Like a dancer.
