I play the opening riff as shown, but play the second riff in the same position as well (ie higher up the neck, middle strings). Same notes, more bass and I don't have to take my fingers off.

Same goes for the last progression. It's essentially the same finger positions moved up and down the neck.

On the interlude, right after you slide up to the C-form E chord (at 5:57), you should hit the A string once, then strum once, rather than do two strums. Other than that, very good lesson!

But i do have one question.

when you strum the D string in his intro he does it twice pauses and strums it twice again. but, when he teaches you he strums it several times and moves on. They both sound right, but which one is?
