I saw your other more advanced videos. I am very impressed by your improvement and accomplishments, considering you started playin only 2 years ago, and not when you were a kid. I think you are very talented and have great potential.
@custommeer Thank you so much! Actually, it was 2 years ago from when I started my youtube account. So it's been like 6 years since I picked up the guitar for the first time. Thanks for watching :)
In fact,I watched your play of Giuliani in this movie repeatedly, and I'm very impressed with it. I'm interested in both famous rock and famous classical music,
and these days I'm surprised that I got to know lots of classical guitar numbers good enough beyond my thought! The number by Giuliani you are playing in this movie is one of many of them. Thank you for playing!
You have such a sweet tone. Very well done. One extremely important thing about guitar performance is clarity. And you are very clear when you play. I can hear every note sound. I love that you play with such clarity and grace. Wonderful job. KEEP IT UP! :D
ok young lady, yes the capo is indeed an interesting piece of machinery...I've had this old one sinceI was your age but alas the screw thread is worn with much usage and the rubber on the clamp frayed and in a somewhat dishevelled state Nevertheless it has performed its duty. You will find the capo used a lot in Flamenco playing (the other mountain of guitar as Segovia described it)The idea was to heighten the pitch of the instrument to cut through a lot of Cafe and background noise.Try&RSVP Bill
TRy also this piece with a Capo on the second fret. This should eliminate the booming effect of the bass strings which I sometimes think secretely like to try and dominate the melody played on the treble register.Nice piece and enjoyed the head-roll this meant you were really into it along with other signs I noted in your body language.
ok i understand.Have you posted any other stuff...over here we have many traditional tunes and most fit well the c/guitar..If you get the time try some of o'carolans pieces,he was a blind harpist of the 1700 and earned his corn by playing and composing for many of the landed gentry.some pieces which come to mind are " Wind from the south" "Blind Mary "Give me your hand" " Carolans Concerto"One trad piece I really love to play is "The Lark in the clear air" by Samuel Ferguson from my ownCo.Antrim
Thanks for telling me about Carolans's pieces. I've never heard of the composer, but I will definitely look into it when I have time. Right now, I'm busy learning Bach 1006a Prelude along with 15 other pieces. I'm required to learn all that for school. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it!
ok good lady thanks 4 reply to my comments..Dont forget also to enhance your tonal qualities of the piece by moving the position of the right hand forward for softness or back for hardnessI find this difficult to remember to do as I have to concentrate on the tune...Hi Have you been playing the lovely instrument long?My Guitis an Angel Lopez.Greetings from Ireland.
I have been playing for 4 years, and I am studying guitar at my university so I can become a teacher. I try to use different timbres(tasto, ponticello or by the soundhole) depending on the piece. I didn't really do that with this piece though.
I was actually thinking the same thing after I watched myself in the video. I wasn't aware of myself doing that. I guess it's a good thing to take videos of yourself for self criticism.
can't wait to hear your improvement over the last year!

well done keep up the good work. Try not to let the right thumb collide with your index finger as in some pieces this will cause problems for you.
