I hated how the women first were robots (ATM, burning hands, electric sparks etc) and then in the next scene they just had microchips in their brains and could easily go back to being normal women... STICK TO ONE OR THE OTHER !!

Thought the movie stunk except this particular scene.. I think there could be made a terrific movie on the stepford wife subject though.. I guess desperate housewives kinda got it going in the right direction - that combined with this concept would be awesome!!

I think the remake was just too explicit with what was done to the wives. The original never showed any kind of robotics in the women, which I think made it creepier.

I just noticed this movie is so fucking colorful. Sad that they made this one funny. It should have been creepy like the original. If this one had ended right here, the movie would have been alright but no it kept going. Ugh. nicole is hot though and its funny they made her blond to go with the 'perfect' look. Everybody loves a hot blond. I know i do. :)

The original movie was SO creepy. They changed a lot from the original to the remake, but in the original this was the last scene. They didn't plant microchips into the womans brains, they killed the women and replaced them with robots. CREEPY. Both were good movies though. This one was more of a comedy than a horror movie.

The part where Nicole is coming out from the left hand side of the isle, slow and looking like in a trance is so disturbing because of how unnatural her movement is. The subject matter is actually more disturbing than the way it's presented. It's as disturbing as people's perception of what is perfect because people are more obsessed with LOOKING perfect than actually trying to live a decent life. Sad but true.
