I don't see Male Tigers at all in the video. I'm pretty sure those are all females. As for putting multiple females together, I'd infer they are trying to make the situation as natural as possible as Lions have prides of females to themselves.

Conflict always occurs in these kind of situations, if you notice there are no injuries, no blood, scratches. It looks violent but all that is pretty normal when cats or most animals are getting acquainted.
