H1 is a far superior vehichle to any posted in this video period. They can climb almost vertical if not vertical walls. They most certainly dont get stuck like these cars do or they wouldnt be in use by the army still today. Just an observation I dont recall the army using JEEPS since like WWII so yeah they are obsolete.
@suedepolo wwII, korea, and vietnam the americans used jeeps, hell the egyptian army still uses the J8. The only reason the jeep was taken off the American military market was because we needed something bigger but take a jeep and and a humvee into the jungle and the jeep will outperform because of its weight and short wheel base. Take them through a war zone and the hmmwv will outperform, see both have pros and cons. as long as you have fun off roading it doesnt matter what you wheel.

I went wheeling about a month ago with two H3s, a Wrangler and a Cherokee. The two Hummers were close to stock, the Jeeps were heavily modified. We pulled one Hummer out once, we pulled the Wrangler out once, we pulled the Cherokee out constantly. One of the H3s made the whole course without getting stuck at all. Just an observation. The driver, tires and wheeling style make all of the difference.

The jeep is definitely a more versatile off road vehicle. With it's power and light weight, it can definitely maneuver in many obstacles. Okay, the hummer was built to go off road too but with its bulkiness and heavy weight, it's tough to go through rough terrains. A jeep indefinitely better when it comes to non paved roads.

there is no comparison between a jeep and h2. an h2 is a luxury vehicle with the option of going of road. plus jeeps are half the size of hummers, a vehicle as big and heavy as the h2 will never perform as well as a jeep. you dont even need to show them in action, just take a picture of them side by side and you know which one will perform better off road and which one will be more luxurious.

I own a Hummer H2 and it's an awesome on road vehicle, but I own an 05 Jeep Rubicon and it's the best off road vehicle for the money. As far as them being a glorified Tahoe, I'd agree with you. The most over-rated off road vehicle has to be a Land Rover. Those things are constantly in the shop.

how can you compare a Jeep to a Hummer? The size, wheelbase, track width, weight, approach and departure angles are in 2 different ball parks. Apples and Oranges. The jeep is definitely a more versatile off road vehicle. With it's power and light weight, it can definitely maneuver in many obstacles. Okay, the hummer was built to go off road too but with its bulkiness and heavy weight, it's tough to go through rough terrains. A jeep indefinitely better when it comes to non paved roads.

there is no comparison between a jeep and h2. an h2 is a luxury vehicle with the option of going of road. plus jeeps are half the size of hummers, a vehicle as big and heavy as the h2 will never perform as well as a jeep. you dont even need to show them in action, just take a picture of them side by side and you know which one will perform better off road and which one will be more luxurious.

I had a h-1 and it did pretty good. I did get stuck alot... How ever I own a lifted 97 xj now and will say I will never go back and im glad I traded even up. I got the better deal hands down.

Gotta give the folks that actually take their Hummers off road a little credit for letting their vehicles do what they're built for. Sadly, too many owners of capable off road vehicles (including Jeeps, Hummers, Toyotas, Xterras, you name it) either don't take them off road, or think that if they do the that the truck is all they need--common sense goes out the window. Jeep is truly the go anywhere car. Stock they can do way more than the hummer, toyota, and any other brand. The hummer is way to big to crawl, its too heavy and they didn't give it enough ground clearance. Plus there is no other car that can crawl as well as the Jeeps can. Jeep all the way!

I own a Hummer H2 and it's an awesome on road vehicle, but I own an 05 Jeep Rubicon and it's the best off road vehicle for the money. As far as them being a glorified Tahoe, I'd agree with you. The most over-rated off road vehicle has to be a Land Rover. Those things are constantly in the shop.

how can you compare a Jeep to a Hummer? The size, wheelbase, track width, weight, approach and departure angles are in 2 different ball parks. Apples and Oranges. High center any vehicle and it will get stuck.. Jeep had its day in the military and they needed something to fit the bill and Hummer had what they needed. Military vs civilian, the civilian is a street cruiser that can go off road. Willys vs CJ/YJ wrangler the same thing. Both are what they are. Tread Lightly!!
