As much as I despise the whole global warming farce, I think its ridiculous not to take advantage of something as abundant as the wind. That said govt needs to stay out and let the market place decide what is effective and efficient and what is not. A MN firm recently took a survey and over 15000 wind turbines have been abandoned because the subsidies that built them are gone, the companies that installed them are bust and they don’t make a profit.
That is truly sad and a good example of government getting involved where it shouldn't. Most of those were purchased for the tax incentives at the time. The incentives were taken away and it's very expensive to service them so they just sit.
It is a good bet that everyone of the non-working wind turbines are still calculated at providing 100% power in the benefit estimates provided by the advocates of wind energy.

Wind turbines are able respond to grid demand, if their not needed they feather out the blades to stop producing power.

You would better have made a video about idle nuclear power plants.
