  • just leave him alone.. lol

  • What an annoying ass dude running through the jungle yelling at the top of his lungs and also if your not sure when a snake is in the "biting mode" you probably shouldn't be holding onto the back of a cobra. Gosh I miss Steve Irwin, he knew how to handle snakes

  • Oh my! If I see this in the wild I would run the fastest I could! hehe

  • You gotta be fucking kidding me.

  • snake snake snake snake snake...snake..snake snake snake snake....snake snake! snake snake!

  • I find it Funny how docile this Cobra is. Snakes are so strange in their behavior. Almost Bi-polar but have a good hold on their "Triggers". The Snake Obviously wants to be left alone. And lets those two guys get RIDICULOUSLY 'personal'

Still. Slithers away before it Strikes...--or attempts. Perhaps this is Just the King Cobra. So I don't think it is mans power over animals at all.

I don't empathize for anyone that peruses a snake as such and Gets Bit.

  • ฝรังนี้ทำไรแปลก

  • just shows how even the KING cobra gets owned by humans just like that

it really shows just how capable/powerful humans are

sneaking from behind the neck.. 1 2 3.. grab! and bang!!! just like that, the king cobra is conquered

so much quicker and more decisive to end a fight than even the most natural professional snake hunting creatures like mongoose or honey badger

  • @warset

you're telling me humans are faster and better hunters than snakes? lol. for all you know, that snake was placed there in advance and it was all an act. shows do that, ya know. I mean c'mon, at one point, they were both calmly chatting about how you wouldn't make it to the hospital in time if bitten while the snake was just about a meter away from both of them with his head raised. What are you kidding me? the producers with the money also don't want that kind of risk on their hands

  • doesnt matter if u give it 2 or 3, but i wouldnt wanna get closer to that thing!

  • Mankind may be severly out of touch with nature

  • snake: "Get the hell off me!"

  • SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

  • a snake whisperer ? hey , snakes are deaf ! ;-)

  • So much intense while watching. WEW!

  • Don't try this at home, these guys are experts, I am amazed by the Indian snake handler is extremely skilled, it is such a treat to see how he tames that poisonous snake in the world.

  • Snake x20

    Where is He x20

    Careful x20

  • when the snake was crawling the white guy runs, lol

  • He sounds like my x g.f. when she was unzipping my pants for the first time @ :25

  • That Brady croc guy is such a noob, typical American fratboy woo hoo mentality.

  • Boy I love it when these show hosts know absolutely nothing about the animals the show's about.

  • I would like to see a King Cobra fight a black mamba

  • Jerry is obviously a pro and behaving like one. The reporter is acting like a reporter - only way out of his class. "Cantheycantheycanthey dive under water??"

  • king cobra

  • This guy is fucking crazy for snakes

  • Snake? Snake?! SNAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

  • SNAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

  • @ 4:26 The Indian guy did all the hard work and the white dude putting his hands up as if seeking an applause for taking part in it :)))) Amazing Snake, Awesome snake hunters...

  • the only King Cobra I like is the malt liquor

  • You would think that National Geographic would at least get their facts right. The narator, who IMO should never be around venomous snakes, said the King Cobra has the highest venom yield of all snakes. While it may be true that they have the most for elapids, the Gaboon Viper has the largest venom yield of all snakes. This guy is way to nervous to try to handle a snake.

  • @MrGhod

I saw the whole series. The man went to various place for searching some snakes that are regarded by him as the most deadliest and he gave them scores.Yet,I think some methods/reasons used to give the score may not be accurate. For example, the score of temperament was given based on one individual and the marks of toxicity of the black mamba(but not the other snakes) was given based on the mortality rate caused (as you know, toxicity is not directly proportional to mortality rate)...

  • @fearingpredators I find a lot of the shows on National Geographic/Animal Planet to be full of inaccuracies. If they want to base a score on mortality rates they should do so for all snakes not just one and it should be separate from toxicity. I think in alot of cases they rush these shows in production, stage parts of them, and don't check the facts carefully. I don't believe they just "happened" to find that snake. Either the villagers told them about it or the snake was brought there.

  • @MrGhod

In addition,I think some factors can't be quantified as there are, just like what you mentioned,a lot of variations and some of them can't be separated from each other. For example, the mortality rate can reflect numerous things, such as venom dose, toxicity, snake temperament, fangs effectiveness, medical details, etc and thus I think it is enough to know which species are highly dangerous rather than an exact ranking.

  • GGRRRR i hate that guy, he's such a coward! he always puts all the responsibility on everyone else around him did you see what he did at the end with the bag he like through it on the other guy as soon as the head was in the bag!

  • Why do the most dangerous snakes insist on living so far from the hospitals?

  • @Latrodecta y do hospitals get built so far away from the most dangerous snakes

  • King cobras have the prettiest faces in the whole snake kingdom.

  • There are many videos on the web of mongooses fighting and killing the smaller indian cobra, but none of them taking on a king cobra. It looks like it's head would be to big for the mongoose to even get it's jaws around. I once saw on TV, a mongoose encountered an enraged female king that was gaurding it's nest. The mammal turned and ran away. Also, many times mongoose and indian cobra are often pitted against eachother for tourist entertainment, always with the same result.

  • 0:37 "You know it's a lucky day when the CAMERAMAN finds a snake." Wow that's a little insulting to the cameraman...

  • I like the part where he says snake

  • @nflpro96

Each individual has different temperament and thus giving "score" based on one specimen may not be accurate. Moreover, there are a lot of variation.

King cobras are regarded as one of the most dangerous snakes (together with black mambas,saw-scaled vipers, coastal taipans, etc.) and they can be highly aggressive.Yet,just like other snakes, they bite only when provocation is continued. Many people misunderstand these wonderful creatures.

  • @fearingpredators I agree. King Cobras are very shy: 1)First, they try to avoid humans or animals as much as they can, if provoked 2)They raise their hoods, if further provoked 3)They hiss, if further provoked, 4)They strike without venom (Mock Bite), if further provoked 5)They bite with Venom. They give 4 levels of chances!!

  • @SuperSealSniper

Actually, each individual has different temperament.King cobra, just like other snakes such as black mamba, avoids confrontation with humans but can be highly aggressive if provoked. This specimen seems to be tired but others can be quite aggressive and inject large dose of venom.Presently, this snake causes the highest mortality rate(together with black mamba). Moreover, juveniles and sub-adult are known to be generally more nervous than adults.

  • @SuperSealSniper

Yet,they seek to flee if possible.I have heard a number of stories describing these wonderful creatures in the way which causes misunderstanding.

  • What's the name of the song????

  • Lol the citizens are like lets all watch the dumb white guy!!!

  • "Don't let go!" He's probably thinking to himself, 'Do you honestly think I'm going to fucking let go? I'm holding a COBRA. JESUS.'

  • Hey Brady why don't you STFU and let the man grab that King.

  • America is incredible at producing middle aged broadcasters and TV experts who are annoying in the same way 12 year olds are annoying.

  • if you recive a bite from a king cobra, 70% chance that you will die. holy shit. I am glad we don't have snakes like that in my country

  • :11 SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE!!!!! XD

  • 3:18 LOL the snake's like " check this out, they are scared shit less of me...WHoah...LOook out....when am I going to strike...OOOOOOOOO I'm a scary snake " XD

  • He gave the "score" based on one individual which may not be accurate. It seems that this individual was quite tired. Some king cobras can be very aggressive when provocation is continued.

  • @fearingpredators I agree. Maybe the snake had recently fed or had not fully warmed up when they found it. These variables can influence a snakes behavour. I wouldn't be surprised though if this was staged and the snake is used to handling. The narrator is clearly too nervous to handle a venomous snake and it seems odd that the snake handler would let him assist.

  • I want to kiss a king cobra and let its tongue flick my tongue.

  • like a fucked up santa clause w/that sack

  • Such a beautiful snake :) I always wanted to see one up close.

  • the snake didn't go to look for people. People went after the snake and the snake tried hard to get away;if people got bitten in the process it's not the snake fault it has to defend itself.Snake always try to avoid humans, rarely snakes stalk humans. We are to blame in most humans fatalities by snakes.

  • people being dangerous to the snake bullshit the snake is the dangerous one to the people

  • @tfu0 over 50 million people killed in World War 2 by OTHER people! When was the last time a Cobra killed 50 million people in a period of 6 years?!? the BIGGEST danger are people! Why is it the snake is actually trying to get away while the people are chasing it?!?

  • ...i was watching this video and the telephone cord rubbed against my leg! i almost shit my shorts!!!...
